Built for accuracy. Free for everyone.
FileKero exists because Pakistan's existing tax calculators are outdated, inaccurate, or buried in ads.
Our mission
Most Pakistani salary tax calculators online are wrong, outdated, or inaccessible. They ignore the surcharge above PKR 10 million. They use stale FY 2022-23 slabs. They don't support freelancers or AOPs. They bury the calculator under banner ads. We built FileKero to fix all of this.
Methodology
Every calculation on FileKero is verified against three independent sources:
- FBR Finance Acts (2023, 2024, 2025) — the legally binding text from the Government of Pakistan
- PwC Tax Summaries Pakistan — peer-reviewed by tax professionals
- KPMG Budget Brief — quarterly updates on regulatory changes
When the budget is announced each June, we update slabs within 24 hours. Mid-year revisions (which happen occasionally) are reflected as soon as they're notified by FBR.
Who builds this
FileKero is built and maintained by Zeeacts (SMC-Private), a Pakistani IT consultancy registered in Islamabad with PSEB. We have no commercial relationships with FBR, the political establishment, or any tax filing service. The calculator is and will remain free.
How we make money
FileKero displays Google AdSense advertising and occasionally features sponsored content from Pakistani financial services (clearly labeled as Sponsored). We never charge users for the calculator and never gate features behind a paywall.
Disclaimer
FileKero provides estimates for informational purposes. For filing decisions, always consult a registered tax practitioner. We are not affiliated with FBR or any government body.
